Vintage style dresses

Many of the oh so talented designers of today have been drawing inspiration from eras gone by for their recent collections and 2013 is no exception.

NYC Bridal Fashion week, last week, saw the top designers showcasing their latest collection with so many, clearly vintage inspired, absolutely breathtaking gowns! I have picked a few of my favourites (all from designers stocked and available in Australia and New Zealand) inspired by fashion from the 1920s through to the 1970s……
1920s
The Golden era of Art Deco, the flapper and silent silver screen sirens – knee length or floor length, think feathers, rich fabrics and embellishments……

Or for a more modern feel but still with an Art Deco feel, this gorgeous gown with geometric bodice and decadent net skirt……
